Randall D. Bongarten, Chairman and CEO

Before forming Bonten Media Group in partnership with Diamond Castle Holdings, Randy was President of Emmis Televisions. Before that, Randy was President of Emmis International, responsible for Emmis’ international radio operations. He has also served as Executive Vice President – Emmis Radio; President – NBC Radio; and Vice President – GE Radio. Randy holds a B.A. in Economics from Oberlin College, an M.B.A and an M.S. in Journalism from Columbia University. Send Randall an email


William S. Moody, Chief Operating Officer and CFO

Scott joins Bonten Media Group from CBS, where he was most recently Vice President, Corporate Development. Before that, Scott was Vice President, Business Development and Treasury for CBS Radio. Earlier in his career, Scott was at NBC Universal, where he held positions as CFO for Digital Media and Vice President and CFO for Business Development. Scott was also Vice President for Corporate Finance at Hallmark Entertainment. He is a graduate of Stanford University and has an MBA from Columbia University. Send Scott an email


Tom Cupp, Vice President — Engineering

Tom Cupp began his television broadcasting career in 1972 as a transmitter engineer while attending college. Since then, Tom has been involved in the design and operation of numerous studio and transmitter facilities across the country, including WJZ-TV in Baltimore. In 1992, Tom began working as chief engineer at WCYB-TV in Bristol, Virginia. Tom became Corporate Engineer for Bluestone Television Group in 2004 and currently serves as Vice President of Engineering for Bonten Media Group. Send Tom an email


Carolyn Stevens, Vice President — Programming

Carolyn has been promoted to Bonten Media Group Vice President — Programming, following her tenure as Corporate Director of Programming. She holds this position in addition to her duties as Program Director/North Carolina Operations. Carolyn has more than twenty years of programming experience and has developed extensive knowledge of programming, marketing, retransmission consent and FCC matters. Deborah Donaldson, Vice President and Corporate Controller

Deb joined Bonten in 2010, coming from Experis Consulting as an Engagement Manager.  Previously she was a partner at Goodman CPA Group, serving clients in New York and New Jersey.  She began her business career at Northfield Savings Bank, working her way up to assistant controller before pursuing her Certified Public Accountant credentials.  Deb has extensive experience in all areas of business management and accounting, including contract negotiation, human resources, tax provision and compliance, cash flow and treasury management, financial planning and analysis, M&A, and preparation of GAAP audited financial statements.  In 2014, she was recognized as one of the Media and Financial Management Association’s “People to Watch” in recognition of her achievements in the broadcast industry.  Currently, Deb serves as a member of the Television Music License Committee.    Deb is a New York-licensed CPA, and received her B.S. from Valparaiso University and her MBA from Rutgers University.  Send Deb an email


Nathaniel E. Hauser, Director — Digital Content and Systems

Nate joined Bonten California in 2013 working as Digital Media Manager then as Assistant News Director before being appointed to the newly created corporate position of Director — Digital Content and Systems. Previously, Nate spent fourteen years in the U.S. Marine Corps and is a combat veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. In the Marines, Nate progressed from Combat Correspondent to Public Affairs Chief, ending his career as the Marine Corps Reserves Multi-Media Chief. Send Nate an email
