KRCR-TV in Northern California has an immediate opening for a strong, high-energy journalist
who knows how to create memorable newscasts. We are looking for someone to join our
team as the producer and anchor of our weekend newscasts and report as a one-man-band
during the week. The ideal candidate will be a smart individual with a passion for local
television news, strong writing skills, solid editorial judgment and the ability to communicate
clearly, both in the newsroom and out in the field. Our news team also plays an important role
in newsgathering for both KRCR News Channel 7 and KRCRTV.com.
Experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right individual. Qualified candidates will

stories, background information and news sources. This person will also be responsible for
dispatching news crews, taking telephone story tips, listening to local police and fire scanners,

based content for KRCRTV.com and KAEFTV.com and to facilitate coordination and coopera-
tion between the News, Sales and Promotion Departments. The Website Manager reports
directly to the News Director, but also works closely with other Department Heads. Duties
include: managing and creating news stories as compelling web material; working with
news managers and producers to create a cohesive working atmosphere and managing
the delivery and producing of interactive content; helping to develop pages for continuing news
coverage or content for News, Sales and Creative Services. The successful applicant will
have a Bachelor's degree plus 2-3 years of web production experience (preferred), advanced
computer skills, knowledge of Internet technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, Flash and
CSS; accomplished writing and editing skills; excellent communication skills and the ability
to work under pressure as a team-member and in a deadline-oriented environment.
