Before forming Bonten Media Group in partnership with Diamond Castle Holdings,
Randy was President of Emmis Television. Before that, Randy was President of
Emmis International, responsible for Emmis’ international radio operations. He has
also served as Executive Vice President – Emmis Radio; President – NBC Radio; and
Vice President – GE Radio. Randy holds a B.A. in Economics from Oberlin College,
an M.B.A and an M.S. in Journalism from Columbia University.
Scott joins Bonten Media Group from CBS, where he was most recently Vice
President, Corporate Development. Before that, Scott was Vice President,
Business Development and Treasury for CBS Radio. Earlier in his career,
Scott was at NBC Universal, where he held positions as CFO for Digital Media
and Vice President and CFO for Business Development. Scott was also Vice
President for Corporate Finance at Hallmark Entertainment. He is a graduate
of Stanford University and has an MBA from Columbia University.
Before joining Bonten Media Group, Tom was Senior Vice President – Sales
for Emmis Television. Tom joined Emmis from Katz Continental Television,
where he led sales and operations for the Midwest region. Previously, Tom
held several sales and sales management positions in local newspaper and
television stations in Montana, Iowa and Arizona. Tom graduated with a BBA
from the University of Iowa.
Kimerly Montour, Senior Vice President -- News & Operations
Kim came to Bonten Media Group from Emmis Television, where she was Vice
President – News. Kim’s varied and extensive experience includes time in London,
where she was head of programming for NBC Europe and CNBC. She spent
nearly ten years with the FOX network, helping to put FOX News on the air. Kim has
also owned her own consulting business, and worked at a television/syndication
convergence company that partnered with major Internet companies. Kim has also
been interim general manager for several television stations.
Dave Ward, Senior Vice President -- Marketing & Promotion
Dave was Senior Vice President of the nationally syndicated program, “The Daily
Buzz,” immediately prior to joining Bonten Media Group. Before that, he was Senior
Vice President, Programming and Marketing, for Emmis Television. Dave began
his career at WUHF in Rochester, NY. He has worked across the country with
several television stations, helping to lead WKCF in Orlando to the position as the
number one WB affiliate in the country during the first half of this decade.
Tom Cupp began his television broadcasting career in 1972 as a transmitter
engineer while attending college. Since then, Tom has been involved in the design
and operation of numerous studio and transmitter facilities across the country,
including WJZ-TV in Baltimore. In 1992, Tom began working as chief engineer
at WCYB-TV in Bristol, Virginia. Tom became Corporate Engineer for Bluestone
Television Group in 2004 and currently serves as Vice President of Engineering
for Bonten Media Group.
